Gold Feather Scholarship Fund

The Isdaners and Camp Mataponi have always felt it important in their personal lives as well as at Camp to support organizations and causes that help those in need. As part of their culture at Camp, campers are encouraged to participate in various service projects that support the local community. These “hands on” experiences are invaluable lessons in generosity, selflessness and vulnerability.

Organizations Camp Mataponi supports :

Camp Sunshine

Preble Street Soup Kitchen

Susan G. Komen “Camps For A Cure”

Camp Champions

In Celebration of 20 years as owners of Camp Mataponi, the Isdaners have started the Gold Feather Scholarship Fund. Named after the traditional Gold Feather core values at Mataponi, the fund has been established to directly impact the lives of young girls who otherwise would not be afforded the opportunity to experience the magic of Mataponi. The Gold Feather fund will allow those who love Camp Mataponi to take an active role in creating childhood memories for a new Mataponi camper.

All of the contributions received will be used in its entirety for the children with the exception of a 7.5% managing fee by the American Camp Association (ACA).

Your gift will make a difference and provide opportunities for children from various cultural, social, economic, racial and national backgrounds.

HOW TO GIVE BACK:     ACA CAMPERSHIP PROGRAM

  • In appreciation of your generosity, Camp Mataponi will be sending you a set of greeting cards designed in part by our Camp Mataponi campers.
