Challenge by Choice

Multi-faceted Adventure Course encompasses over 20 low and high elements including a 40 foot zip line, burma loops, three sided adjustable climbing wall, catwalk, and more.

Trips

Each division at camp participates in “field trips”, capitalizing on Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont’s breathtaking mountains, coastline and National Forests. Natural beauty that simply cannot be paralleled anywhere else, campers can look forward to exciting trips as they progress in their years at Mataponi. Throughout the summer, all age groups enjoy local day hikes to scenic trails and mountains. Our youngest “Junior” campers experience cookouts on our very own island while the older campers leave camp for multiple day camping excursions that varies from Acadia National Park in Maine to Mount Washington in New Hampshire.

 In addition, campwide trips are taken to local landmarks such as  Funtown-Splashtown, Ogunquit Beach and Old Orchard Beach.
