Juniors & Middie A’s (Grades 1-4)
Schedule
A structured block schedule peppered with one daily individual choice elective enables our youngest campers to experience new activities they may not initially choose on their own.
Uniquely designed for our Junior campers, pre-breakfast “morning ski” provides an ideal setting for learning to ski on glass-like conditions before the rest of the camp awakens.

Trips
Juniors
A favorite tradition is our cookout on our very own island, just one mile off the shores of Mataponi. Dinner is prepared over the campfire as songs fill the air, ending the evening with the perfect treat—fireside s’mores. Throughout the summer, off-camp day hikes and blueberry picking adventures are woven in, giving our youngest campers a wonderful introduction to field trips and outdoor exploration.
Middie A’s
Set out on a one-night, two-day camping adventure featuring scenic waterfall hikes, visits to classic New England towns, and a night spent sleeping under the stars in tents.
Camp Sister
Having the opportunity to learn about camp from your Mataponi “big sister” is priceless. Juniors and Middie A’s are mentored by older campers who foster a sister-like friendship throughout the summer and beyond.
