Mason Hunter

Mason started on the Camp Mataponi team in Summer 2023 as Assistant Waterfront Director. He attended the University of Michigan, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Mason competed in division 1 college swimming for 5 years, and has been teaching swim lessons to kids of all ages for twice as long.

Now he enjoys helping create the next generation of confident and capable swimmers!

Favorite thing about Camp: The rowdy, competitive, and absolutely hilarious energy during Night at the Races where the whole camp got to partake in silly relays!
